Director

Duc A. Tran is the Director of NISLab. He holds an Assistant Professor position in the Department of ComputerScience at the University of Massachusetts at Boston.

Shilpa Ghadge joined NISLab in Spring 2009 as a PhD student, supervised by Dr. Tran, Dr. Bala Sundaram (Physics), and Dr. Tim Killingback (Maths). She got a MS in Math from Univ of British Columbia (2008) and a MS in Applied Statistics and Informatics from IIT-Mumbai (2000).

Cuong (Charlie) Pham joined NISLab in Spring 2008 as a PhD student. He got a BS degree in Computer Science from Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Russia) in 2007.

Binh Tran joined NISLab in Fall 2008 as a PhD student, supervised by Dr. Tran and Dr. Dan Simovici. He got a MS degree in Computer Science from University of Florida in 2008.

Samatha Palugulla joined NISLab in Spring 2008. She is a MS student.

Phuong Nguyen joined NISLab in Fall 2007 as a MS student. He got a BS degree from University of Cincinnati in 2007. He will graduate in August 2009.

Stephen Igbinovia is a Computer Science undergraduate student. He is also a McNair scholar at UMass Boston. Stephen is working in NISLab under the support from an NSF REU grant.
